THE TRUTH SEEKER’S MEDALLION
An Esoteric Symbol to Honor Pythagorean Hylozoics

The primary goal of Esoteric Law is to contribute to the international awareness, understanding and acceptance of Pythagorean Hylozoics as presented by Henry T. Laurency and translated by Lars Adelskogh. In furtherance of this goal, Esoteric Law has created An Esoteric Symbol to honor Pythagorean Hylozoics called the TRUTH SEEKER’S MEDALLION (or TSM).

As time goes by, it is hoped that this symbolic medallion will be appreciated and worn by more and more serious truth seekers throughout the world as a personal affirmation of the great esoteric truths found in Pythagorean Hylozoics. For these seekers of truth the medallion is meant to be a visible symbol; an ever present call to practice the laws of life and support the cause of global unity.

Further, it is our conviction that the urge to grow as well as serve a cause greater than one’s self is innate in the consciousness of all true seekers.  The TSM is intended to help facilitate this urge! Of course, it can be argued that this conviction may just be the result of wishful thinking or an impractical dream; on the other hand, with a little help from the “Hundredth Monkey Effect”, it might just become a reality!

BACKSTORY OF THE TSM

Why It Was Created…

The backstory of the TSM and why it was created actually spans five developmental stages as follows … 1. Inception, 2. Criterion, 3. Symbolization, 4. Realization, and 5. Production of the TSM. Details of the backstory will unfold as the five following stages are described below…

1.  INCEPTION:

As stated at the beginning of this article, the purpose of Esoteric Law is to contribute to the international awareness, understanding and acceptance of Pythagorean Hylozoics as compiled by Henry T. Laurency and translated by Lars Adelskogh.

When we first decided to create this website, we also begin to think about other ways to go beyond our actual website to internationalize the awareness of Pythagorean Hylozoics. In other words, what else could we do to maximize this effort?

Were there other options; other ways to expand the reach of Pythagorean Hylozoics? Could Pythagorean Hylozoics be objectified, or perhaps symbolized through a material possession much like the Christian cross or the Star of David or the many charms, metals, and medallions of St. Christopher? How could this be done? What would it look like? How would it be made? Who wore the many charms, metals and medallions of St. Christopher? Who would make it?

Soon we were engaged in a form of brainstorming; albeit (at first) just an awkward attempt at trying to decide how to decide. However, after many iterations, what we were trying to conceptualize began to morph into a small “medallion”; an actual material representation that could symbolize the individual Truth Seeker and her/his affinity for Pythagorean Hylozoics as well. Ultimately, the final materialization became known as the “Truth Seeker’s Medallion” or (TSM).

2.  CRITERION:

Now, with the idea of the TSM clearly in mind, our thoughts turned to the standards of excellence we envisioned for it. To convey appropriate deference to the importance of what our TSM was intended to symbolize, we established five critical criteria. They were…

• Simplicity: 

The design of our medallion must be simple and unobtrusive; esoterically symbolic yet graphically clear and understandable.

• Quality: 

Our medallion must be authentic, and of high quality (in material and workmanship). Therefore, it must be handcrafted and made from precious metal (sterling silver and/or solid gold) with a genuine diamond symbolic and centrally placed. Each medallion must also be graphically identical but hand crafted and individually assembled.

• Uniqueness: 

The Truth Seeker’s Medallion must be absolutely unique. That is, there should be no other like it (except those worn by other seekers) anywhere on the planet. Much like an original painting! In addition, it must also be capable of being optionally personalized. For the astrologically oriented, this would mean personalized with initials, birthdate, astrological glyph and/or appropriate birthstone.

• Handcrafted: 

Each medallion should be individually handcrafted. This means that every character, symbol or other design element should be placed individually (one at a time) on each medallion. Therefore, every medallion will be a one-of-a-kind personal possession of great value to the one who possess it.

• Revered: 

The TSM should be regarded as an enduring esoteric symbol; an important personal possession that can be passed on as a valuable heirloom to those who appreciate and understand its esoteric significance; an object to be revered.

3.  SYMBOLIZATION:

As an esoteric symbol the TSM must have the seven following symbolic elements: 1. The words esotericlaw.com (to symbolize a specific source of Pythagorean Hylozoics currently available on the Internet), 2. A nine-pointed star (to symbolize unity as well as the three triads), 3. A small natural diamond (or alternate birthstone) at the center of the nine-pointed star (to symbolize the second self), 4. The words Truth Seeker (to symbolize the first self), 5. The initials L.A. (to symbolize Lars Adelskogh as the translator or “amanuensis” of Laurency), 6. The word Laurency (to symbolize Henry T. Lawrency as the compiler of Pythagorean Hylozoics), 7. The words Pythagorean Hylozoics (to symbolize  “ESOTERIC LAW”)

4.  REALIZATION:

As we scanned the criterion we had selected for our TSM, we were concerned that we may not be able to find a suitable manufacturing jeweler or other similar firm on the Internet who could provide us with what we had envisioned our medallion to be. In fact, we weren’t even sure where to begin with our search to find such a resource.

However, well into our search we inadvertently stumbled upon the website of a small jewelry manufacturing firm (Metal Pressions) owned by a young and enterprising husband-and-wife team. Their website offered a custom handmade jewelry service; a service that also included a state-of-the-art software system that allowed customers the option of participating in the design and creation of their own jewelry.

Because of the functionality provided by this software, we could personally incorporate all seven symbolic attributes into a one-of-a-kind (and exclusive) design for our TSM.
This was a serendipitous event! Up until we accidentally discovered this small firm, we had been unable to find anything remotely close to providing us with the resources we needed to produce our TSM.

In fact, we were not even aware that they existed!  Esoteric Law is grateful for our chance (“karmic”) discovery of this unique resource!

5.  PRODUCTION:

Remember, when you order your TSM, it is being made to order by Metal Pressions (MP) especially for you (plus any options you may wish to add). This means that the production of your medallion starts as soon as your order is received. You will be notified when production begins and again when it is completed and shipped.
